Dry Bitter Leaves (Ndole, Onugbu) or Vernonia leaf (Vernonia amygdalina), also known as Cameroon’s Ndolé, Amharic’s Grawa, Yoruba’s Ewuro, Ibibio’s Etidot, Igbo’s onugbu, Tiv’s Ityuna, Edo’s Oriwo, Hausa’s chusar-doki, Luganda’s Mululuza, and Acholi’s Labwori and Rollo’s illusion. This plant is also called “kongo bololo” in Congo.
